The emphasis will be on Borneo Adat which naturally will be on the Dayak Adat. Adat includes a way of life, basic values, culture, accepted code of conduct, manners, conventions and customary laws.
- M.2 Statute Law
Statute law is the body of law enacted by Parliament or State Assembly or Dewan Undangan Negeri
- M.3 Constitution
Constitution is the manner in which a state or other body is organized.
The body of fundamental doctrines and rules of the nation from which stem the duties and powers of the government and the duties and rights of the people - M.4 Belief System
Our Belief System is our religious faith in our respective religion that we embrace like Christianity, Islam, Hindu, Buddhism, Adat Lama and many others
Whenever Adat is being taught and learned the natural thought that comes to our mind is our own nation where we live right now which has its own Constitution and Statute Law which is very much influenced by or to the belief system of its citizens. This means we are looking at the Adat and its relation to Statute Law, the Constitution and our Belief System. By having a better and solid understanding of these 4 modules, it is hope that every citizen of a country is assumed to be citizens who respect and honour the Adat, honour the Law, respect the Constitution and fear for one’s own belief system. The details of the programme in the form of a handbook will be provided for participants who will register and confirm to attend this course.
